Merry Christmas everyone. Today was relaxing overall and there was actually a Christmas gift exchange activity that the family played where people had to buy something for under $25 and people would randomly choose which unknown present to get. It’s always interesting to see what people are able to come up with as there were the typical candy as presents or mugs. One year I was able to get a toaster oven for under $15 and this year I found a personal blender for under $25.
A lot of people were surprised and I was happy to hear the recipient was actually happy about it as people’s expectations are only items like chocolate or socks would be affordable at that range. This one I happened to find during all those Cyber Monday sales where I saw these in stock for it before but I guess they had too many. Guess it’s another example on how being a frugal shopper can bring joy to others as well without you having to break the bank.
