With the FIFA soccer events coming soon one topic that has come up is how controlling the organization is in regards to what can and cannot be shown around the area to the point where even businesses that don’t want anything to do with it are affected. For example, they apparently have all these rules where within a certain distance of the event area only brands and specific color themes that match their requirements will be allowed. So theoretically, if a small restaurant in the area usually has signs outside to advertise certain products, they technically could be forced to take it down.
This event is a big deal of course as many would assume it is going to attract a lot of people while pouring a lot of money into the economy. As the decision maker too, I guess you can say it’s a sacrifice they are willing to make in terms of making the small business owners mad to have this event as looking at it from a numbers point of view it’s probably worth it in their eye.
The harsh reality of doing business against a giant organization I guess you can say.
