Learning From Other People’s Spending Habits

business and finance blog

Today I got to see some spending habits of other people where it showed a different perspective on what is considered too much to spend on certain items.  For example, seeing a cell phone bill that is over $100 a month seems extremely high to me whereas for others it’s normal.  This is a good way I think to evaluate your own spending habits I find as it forces you to think if what you are doing financially is good or not.

I know for myself I often treat saving money as like a friendly sport where finding better ways to get the same result for cheaper is a fun competition in any ways.  That’s one of the reasons I enjoy reading all the deals that people post in bargain forums for example as seeing the spending habits of others can influence you to save as well.  Sometimes it’s just about surrounding yourself with the appropriate people to develop the habit of being financially responsible.
