Keeping Money Within Your Social Circle When It Makes Sense

Recently I bumped into a person who I haven’t seen in a while and during some talk he was mentioning that he was moving to a different home. As usual I am curious if it is due to financial reason or simply lifestyle. He was saying that his parents recently bought a new house and so he is moving in where he will pay rent to them instead of someone else. Even I was saying that’s probably better to be giving the money to people you actually know per se to help them benefit from it.

In some funny ways businesses do that all the time too such as working with preferred partners where many times that simply means companies that also give them business directly or indirectly. So it helps to feed that ecosystem I guess you can say. I think finance in our personal lives are the same yet many times we don’t want to do it for silly reasons. For example, if you are going to pay someone to help get you groceries and someone in your circle can do it just as easily without going out of their way too much why wouldn’t you ask the person you know first? Believe it or not, I have often heard people give reasons such as they don’t want people in their immediate social circle to benefit from it. A little crazy huh?

I could only imagine that would even help the person in the future. Like in a funny way the more money that other person has maybe they can use it to buy that guy a better gift for their birthday or something. It’s kind of interesting how many people don’t see it in those kinds of ways even though a lot of successful people and businesses do it all the time.
