I saw this Burger King ad online today where in Canada there is apparently a promotion where people can buy 10 pieces of nuggets for $1.79. I think everyone can agree that is pretty darn cheap. It was interesting to read how so many people who normally would stay away from fast food mentioned that they would get it anyways since it is so cheap.
It’s interesting to see things like this and how companies spend so much money trying to create compelling ads to win over customers. In this case, you could pretty much just funnel that budget and sell your items at an extreme discount where it could be just as effective if not potentially better. I am almost inclined to say like in this case people wouldn’t even really think as much in terms of health benefits. If the price looks attractive that is enough for many.
