I recently heard how a new people were on the hunt for as new place to live where you often have to sacrifice something in the name of finance to be able afford living there. That could range from the specific area you are living in to the accessibility of various businesses. What was interesting was when the topic of having in suite laundry came up there were two people that had completely different views of it. One person insisted that the place must have it where it saves so much time and money and the other person mentioned how bringing it to a place would be better than paying an extra $150 a month just for it as an example.
That then brought up the factor of time and convenience that would or wouldn’t be better overall. I always felt that in suite laundry is one of those must haves unless you literally lived like say a few blocks from a laundry mat. It’s one of those things where the convenience of having one just seems to be worth it financially as the time you spend commuting feels like you would spend more in the long run. Then again there are people who could simply plan and do various work as they travel to a place to wash them.
This is one of those things where I think even if I had to pay a little more it’s a great time saver. Especially if you need to wash something right away as an example.
