Today in the mail I received so many income reports from various companies that I have worked with. It’s like they all decided to send it on the same day. Funny enough there are some other income sources that I didn’t actually bank yet and so the funds are still sitting with the companies as I am just allowing the funds to accumulate for the time being.
To me it just seems like a hassle to do all these forms for so little money and so it is better to just let the funds accumulate to a decent amount first. In many ways it is like earning interest in your savings account and unless you make a certain amount most banks won’t even bother to submit you a report in which you need to report for tax purposes.
I guess it’s now the matter of deciding which tax program to go with this year and all. Still can’t wait for the day where we can all just keep say digital copies of receipts as opposed to having to keep all of the physical copies for write offs.
