I recently ran out of dental floss and so I thought I would quickly drop by the supermarket to get some. For the most part I didn’t really have a particular brand in mind because for the most part it’s just dental floss right? So as a result I was just looking at all the choices by focusing on the price and how much you actually get. While the cheapest ones were sold out it seemed like the next best choice was this “EXACT” brand that was about $3 for 182m of dental floss. That’s a lot I thought.
But as I kept looking there were all these “Oral-B” branded ones with labels such as “mint taste” or “glide” and it was about $3 too. However, it stated that it had about 32m per pack. Huge difference between the two. But all those fancy sounding terms sure gets to you as even I had to double think if the more expensive ones were actually a lot better for the price.
In the end I did get the EXACT one as that sounded like just so much more product that will last awhile. For regular everyday need items I tend to go with the stuff that will last me longer while getting the job done. While those no name or generic branded items may not sound glorious it sure adds up in savings.
