Usually when you start a business one would be hustling everyday to get customers and to ensure they are doing everything they can to make sure they keep them as well. But what got me thinking recently is a business where it seemed like they were currently okay financially with some good residuals coming in to the point where they can be a little pickier on which customers to serve. However, because of this success it seems like they actually got lazier as they seem to be refusing basic services at times with the mindset of the customer can do it themselves as they have no time. That’s kind of crazy when you think about.
For you as the business you are supposed to be offering a service to ensure the customer is taken care of. Treating it like you are simply refusing to do more for a friend or family member shows a bit of arrogance for the company and how they don’t value their customers where I wouldn’t be surprised if they start to see a mass exodus of sort. If anything, if you are doing well then maybe you should find ways to leverage your time while still providing the service you are known for.
Otherwise, it reminds me of say a child that works at a job and now has say $1000 where they think it is so much for their entire life. As a result, they then tell their employer they refuse to do basic tasks and they should do it themselves. I think most agree if the company fired the person after. Find ways to do more not less in my opinion.
