One of the main topics yesterday on that America’s money class was about finding missing money such as inheritance money that you never knew you had. The site that they were pushing a lot for this was http://www.missingmoney.com/ . It seems like everything is free so I guess there is no harm in using it as maybe you will get lucky. I tried it for the heck of it too even though I knew there is no way I would find anything for myself. Funny thing was the province I live in doesn’t participate in the site apparently and so you get redirected to a different one.
I even then started to type in my grandparent’s names as I thought maybe I would find something under their names. No luck though. I can see how this may get a little addictive too trying to type in every name of a person you know in an effort to try and find a hidden treasure. Another site that they talked about was http://www.unclaimed.org/ . Again, no harm in trying I guess.
