Well, I guess this is going to be the biggest change for me service wise and when it comes to billing as today I finally decided to switch cell phone carriers. I have been holding out for years in getting a smartphone with a big reason that I didn’t want to pay those ridiculous data monthly fees that most companies here offered.
But, during the Christmas boxing week sale here the company Wind Mobile had this $40 a month unlimited everything plan which sounded good to me to try. The main thing that was crossing my mind was if the network coverage would be bad considering the company is way smaller, but from the coverage areas i saw it seemed like it would work fine for me.
One scary thing was that when I was signing up the sales rep was warning me ahead of time that the reception might not be as good as my current provider when it comes to places like underground parking and that he was telling me so that there would be no surprises. That was kind of interesting I thought as it almost felt like he himself was a bit unsure if I would be fully satisfied. But, I mentioned that’s why I will try it out.
So far though everything seems great and it’s nice to be able to access everything on my new smartphone. I think this will help for my productivity as well and when it comes to handling the phone bill it should be more consistent now.
