Today I was looking at this juicer which sounded unique and tempting to me as one of the most time consuming things about raw juicing I find is cleaning up the machines. So with this product the company found a solution where you could literally juice the product and never have to clean the machine itself. Sounds too good to be true right? Apparently the way around this is that they designed it so that you put all the products in this bag where the machine then presses the products tightly where the juice comes out. You then throw away the bag and have no clean up to worry about.
That then made me think of course where obviously this means you have to keep purchasing these bags in order for the process to work as intended. That can add up too to the point where it just sounds better to stick with the old fashion clean up until someone finds a way to solve it without having to purchase consumables.
I usually try and avoid consumables like these whenever possible for any kind of products. Once it becomes like a habit then it just seems “normal” to keep spending your money in these ways even though there are other options out there many times. Sometimes that is why a main product can be so cheap too as the company is banking on people to buy these types of replacements. Always look at the long-term expenses of owning anything.
