Of course Black Friday is coming soon and a lot of people are already to spend. During these times I usually spend more time trying to find early flyer releases online while for the most part ignoring the current in-store deals. In some ways it’s surprising on how you can find the flyers early. But what got me thinking was how a lot of people are already planning how to line up for the deals which can range from skipping work to having to buy fast food and coffee runs.
Makes me wonder if we ever think about the costs associated to even get the chance to buy items with Black Friday pricing. In some of these cases it almost sounds like the savings are minimal or maybe more expensive when you factor in everything. I have been shopping online for these types of sales for awhile and it is simply more cost and time effective I find. Usually they are available earlier too. At the same time, even a simple smartphone can be good enough to take advantage of the deal anywhere. Of course, I am still expecting to see all those crazy videos of people trampling each other at the stores for deals.
