I was in the midst of trying to gather up these items to ship to a friend today in which some of them were flavored potato chips that aren’t available in his hometown. They were in bags bulk up pretty far due to the air inside as you would see with most packages of potato chips. As a result I could only fit about two in this box. The employees then suggested I go to a different store to see if there were chips in a mini canister instead as you would be able to fit way more in a box.
That got me thinking on how most management would probably rip their employees a new one for telling customers to go to a different store as it can essentially mean a loss of business. As a consumer though I usually find things like this useful to determine whether or not I should return to shop there as the honesty in wanting what is best for the customer can go a long way. I ended up just getting the stuff at that store mostly due to their helpfulness.
You don’t always need to have the lowest prices as customer service can be worth a lot in winning people’s business.
