I was watching that show Beast Games 2 today and it’s always interesting to see the lengths people go to in order to win money that they feel will be life changing for their situation. But one common theme in these types of shows is how so many people swear to each other that they won’t betray them or allow money to influence their values just to quickly turn around when they are offered say six figures. At the same time, promising not to take out certain people from the game just to do so when they have the opportunity as it will increase their chances of winning.
That makes you wonder, should you ever truly trust anyone when a lot of money is involved? Because in many cases this is exactly what happens when people are presented with a lot of money. I still remember one guy just casually talking to me how he feels everyone has a price and even began to say how he would say sabotage a business owned by people he cared about for the right amount of money.
That’s scary for people to actually have that mindset. But it’s a reality where you have to always be on the defensive I guess as the odds are stacked up against you where when money is involved you bet there a re a lot that are just thinking about themselves huh?
