With all the tension about racism recently this was interesting to see as Cineplex is apparently offering people the opportunity to watch movies for free on its site that relate to the topic of black people in the community. There are quite a bit of movies to choose from as well. As stated in one of its social media posts:
“In a time when many are turning to movies to become informed and empowered, we want to help. Our ‘Understanding Black Stories’ collection was curated to elevate Black filmmakers. These films are available to view at no cost on the Cineplex Store.”
I thought it was even more generous considering at this time companies like these are probably losing millions due to no one going to the theatres. You can see them here which should give you a lot to watch. Especially during these times where people have plenty of time to learn new things and perspectives.
