This was kind of shocking as the whole world probably heard about the shooting if a man named Charlie Kirk yesterday and not surprisingly news media are scrambling to be the first to get late breaking news to increase viewership. But what was shocking were how apparently there were already books online released days early before this tragedy which makes you wonder, how that is even possible? There was this one example of a book on Amazon titled “The Shooting of Charlie Kirk” written by an Anastasia J. Casey where the publish date was September 9, 2025.
It has since been removed as I am guessing it could have been a renamed listing for something else to try and capitalize on the hunger in people to try and learn as much about the situation as possible. It also shows you how there are probably tons of people that simply see tragic incidents as an opportunity to make money. I actually wonder if they consider how a lot of people would view that in a negative way to the point where they may have permanently damaged their business reputation as an example.
One must be getting some decent sales to be motivated to do something like this. It’s a little inappropriate in my opinion if the motivation is just trying to take advantage of the situation.
