Better Buys To Save Money All Around You

So today I had some fun as a person was saying he found groceries to be extremely expensive and one example he used was Asian pears. I know those can be expensive in the big stores and so I decided to do a quick check at some places around me to show there are always good deals if you are willing to shop around. First, I went to one of the bigger chains and they had Asian pears listed at about $2.99 per pound. That’s a pretty normal price and is what I assumed he probably paid around.

I literally then walked to another grocery store that I knew often had great deals and this was an Asian store which means they usually carry these items more. Not surprisingly, here they has Asian pears for $1.49 each. A way better deal as you will save almost 50 cents for each pear which can add up if you say bought seven to ten. These stores are so close together too. But often times people opt for the convenience in just buying everything in one place.

If you really want to save then trying to find a good way to have the flexibility to shop at different locations will open up so many more frugal options. I find it fun too just to discover all the deals for the week.
