Being Glad I Didn’t Buy Normal Sale Priced Items

What a great example this was today in terms of holding back purchases based on your knowledge of how cheap the items can actually get before making a purchase. The other day I spent a but of money to qualify for a lot of bonus reward points and one thing I was thinking of getting were these large bags of mixed nuts. The store normally lists them for over $15 a bag which is outrageous as even other stores sell it for less as a regular price. The other day they were listed at $12. So I was debating if I should buy them as the filler items to reach my minimum purchase threshold. I decided to hold back as I have seen them go for under $10 many times. So I wouldn’t really be saving as much with the points if I bought it at that price. So, I left it.

With that in mind, look at what I saw today. Those exact same mixed bag of nuts of multiple varieties are now on sale for $9.99. Exactly what I expect for these items in regards to an actual good sale at a low price. I actually got a coupon for these this week too. I would have had buyer’s remorse if I bought a bunch of these the other day. This shows it’s not a fluke when it comes to finding deals and saving money as you need to shop around and get experience on what the lowest prices for items are.

Everything is always better when you save so much money like this as you can then invest those funds into other items. Including protentional business ventures.
