This was funny I thought with the notion on how many times people are simply terrified to go up to people to ask simple questions or engage in a conversation in an effort to potentially learn something that may benefit them greatly. Politeness is a factor as no one would want another person hounding them while they are out eating a meal with friends as an example. But today while walking a person literally runs up to me and I walk pretty fast where I actually didn’t stop as I had no idea who this guy was and I was actually filming.
He then asked me where I bought a piece of gear from as I suppose he was interested in it. I mentioned I simply got it from Amazon and that was that. Usually in these situations people would be too afraid to go up to others and ask but this was an example on how sometimes that’s what you need to do to answer whatever lingering question you may have of something.
I know a lot of people don’t mind just answering simple questions. It’s usually when someone’s intent is to sell something that’s when most people would just ignore the other.
