A lot of times we tend to spend our money on things we don’t actually need which just ends up putting one in ad difficult financial situation. Therefore, it’s good to be discipline in the sense of stopping oneself from buying this because it seems nice or that the item is on sale. But how about items where it almost feels like a price error?
I saw this ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook today where normally it does retail for $779. It seems kind of decent if you actually needed it for work purposes. I personally don’t need it, but look at this price when you enter in a code. It drops the price to about $189 Canadian. Again, that feels like a price error huh? I actually found myself thinking really hard if I could justify it anyway.
Usually when I have no use of the sale item myself I then try and think of others who it may be great for as a gift. I know some people who were looking for a tablet but this wasn’t exactly that as it is pretty big. Although you can flip the screen to make it like a tablet of sort. If that fails then I think if it would be a good investment to say resell later in the event I do get it while ending up not actually opening it.
But in the end I couldn’t really think of a reason to get it so I left it. Would you have bought it though knowing you have no immediate use for it?
