This was an interesting thought I terms of saving money as it’s no secret that you sav a lot more by cooking your own food versus dining out. That should be a top priority for anyone who is looking to save money. But of course, for a lot of people they just don’t feel their cooking skills can make dishes taste as good as the ones you get at the restaurant and so many opt to dine out or purchase third part food preparation services. Now you could just keep trying and get better like most things in life. But for those who don’t want to spend thousands of dollars in some kind of culinary school I was hearing how many people actually work at restaurants to get the skill while getting paid.
You may think there is no way a restaurant would hire you if you can’t even cook right? But usually in most restaurants people start off by doing small tasks such as chopping vegetables or in certain restaurants they actually train you from ground up. This is not just say a McDonald’s. I often see plenty of ads for Sushi restaurants as an example where they say experience is not necessary and they will train as I will imagine they need help doing repetitive tasks such as cooking rice. So it’s actually a sensible way to get experience for a skill you need.
Of course, you need to have good availability as well depending on what the business is looking for. But it’s another option from just trying to learn everything yourself or having to spend money to do so.
