While walking through the park today I noticed this unusual bird that I have never seen before. Because of that I captured a video of it. Someone who seemed to know more about birds was saying tis was a baby eagle. If so, then I am glad I took a video of it. I was thinking too how this was a great example on opportunities that are constantly around us but being clueless about various subjects results in letting it pass by. Rare collector items are a great example as many times people just want to get rid of “junk” only to learn it was highly rare and valued item that sells for thousands.
I know people often joke nowadays when people feel the need to take pictures of everything they see. In this example though that may not be a bad idea. Imagine going to flee market and there was say an action figure that looked neat to you. If you don’t know much about it, taking a picture and then showing it to people you know who are experts on the subject may uncover that you saw something very valuable to then go and buy it.
Reminds of that survivor show where the contestants were struggling to conserve food and one day their prize was having locals of the island show them what was edible. There was an abundance of vegetables and even things like sugar cane all around them in which they were simply walking by each day and never thought of just pulling out the plants from the ground to see what they were. As they say, ask if you are unsure.
