Too Expensive For Basic Food Cooking

This was kind of amusing reading comments from people about this pressure induction heating machine in which I suppose you can cook things like rice fairly quickly. While it’s great to have a piece of machine that can cook things perfectly, it’s the price that made so many people shocked as it is normally about $800. You can imagine the cynicism from many as rice is considered a cheap meal options for many and having such a premium piece of gear for a low cost items seems crazy to many.

Can’t say that isn’t a fair way of thinking because at that price you would expect someone to be cooking with expensive ingredients or requiring perfection of sort such as running a restaurant. Is preparing food ever an expense you are willing to go above and beyond to get say the best? This sounds crazy of course, but people technically do it all the time such as buying expensive TV monitors to watch stuff that doesn’t even support the max resolution. For many people that is considered normal. But when it comes to food the mindset is completely different.

I think the only time I would ever invest in something that expensive for that specific purpose is if I was running a business selling rice dishes or this thing is ridiculous and saves so much time such as auto cooking and cleaning to the point where it technically saves me money. Either way, it has to do more than just cook something like rice very well. It’s a way to ensure that you don’t just splurge on he latest and greatest as well to the point where you are just buying stuff you don’t really need while draining bank account.
