It’s a common mentality where we all earn money to help support our families as many are willing to do anything as a result. For example, working twelve hours a day, eating the most frugal things, etc. But how about those who are willing to say lie, cheat and steal in order to provide for their family? It got me to think as I was watching some competition shows where people seemed to justify stealing from people because they need it.
That makes you think as in those cases the majority of people would say they are evil. Is It honestly any different than two businesses literally trying to put each other out of business? I suppose it really depends on the nature of the situation. My best analogy would be like a fighting match. If both people go in with an agreement that they will both go all in then no one will complain when one person defeats the other as the better man won. However, if one guy in the match resorted to say illegal blows or misleading technicalities to get an unfair advantage then people would rightfully see it differently.
Like in the case of being deceptive, I don’t think saying you are doing it for your family is justifiable. Because in most cases that means you are stealing from someone else that has a family as well.
