I couldn’t believe this was a real story as apparently there was a person that goes by the handle “Kira Cousins” and she apparently faked a pregnancy where she even fooled her family members. She constantly updated people online about it where it gain a lot of attention. However, as the story goes apparently her mom found in her room the fake baby doll and the whole story fell apart. Aside from the fact that the story is a little no believable, it makes you think how there is actually an industry nowadays where people are deceived with fake stories to get gift and money from people as a business.
Reminds me on how there are actually people that treat pan handling as a full-time business where many make so much money that they actually drive expensive cars. It should put you on alert as this is one of those situations where you could end up just losing your money by giving to causes that are essentially a fraud. We all want to help those in need while envisioning what we would feel like in those positions. But there are so many that also take advantage of that.
Stay vigilante as they say. It’s not always a storybook scenario.
