Usually if there is a sale for 80% off an item you would expect it to fly out the stores. But it was interesting to see how at The Bay they can’t seem to sell these Pizza ovens despite the discount. Normally priced at about $699.99, they were now being sold at $140 which should be as teal if you were looking for that type of item. But as evident, no one is buying it. If they can’t sell it now then they had no chance before the liquidations took place huh?
It makes you wonder if it is simply poor awareness as I am sure there is someone out there that would feel they hit the gold mine in finding this. Or is it simply a case of the wrong audience for these items? The other factor could be brand too as I noticed all the Breville appliances were gone. Including the Pizza ovens. On the other hand, it could have just been sold to another company that intended to resell it closer to the retail price.
For myself, I don’t need one but may have considered it if it was a regular counter top oven of sort. Or at the same time, I would have potentially kept it as a future gift as I am sure someone would love it where at that price it’s a steal. But then I didn’t want to drag it out of the store and all. Wrong place wrong time I guess.
