This actually happens a lot where I see a deal on a store flyer digitally that I like and simply go to the store thinking I can just open the app up again later to fully review everything including any coupons that the store may be offering. Then, when I go to certain stores the reception is so bad that the Internet simply doesn’t get through. So, I usually then try to see if the store has Wi-Fi as an example. But sometimes to avoid this I actually look at the digital flyer quickly on my phone and actually take screenshots of them.
Why do that? Because now that it is an image on my phone I can literally just open it up to see without needing the Internet and having to worry about load times. It’s the next best thing I feel to actually having a physical flyer on hand. There are actually a ton of people who don’t have Internet plans on their phones either and it makes me wonder if this technique could actually help them during their grocery shopping too.
The only real obstacle would be if your phone literally runs out of power of course. I actually do this for some long news articles sometimes in spaces where the connection is not the best where when I do get a long page to load I would similarly take a screenshot of it which enables me to view it as if I am in an area with a strong connection speed. Maybe this little technique could help you too.
