People often find it intimidating when it comes to merchandise that doesn’t appear to be tagged with a price and at the same time they are actually interested in purchasing it. Nowadays a lot of stores have price scanners where people can check themselves. But simply asking the associates at the store should work too. Sometimes you could be oblivious to a good deal. Take this example when I went to The Bay store today as it is closing down soon and there are deals to be found.
There were some pants I was interested in as they originally were marked at $65 and with a 70% discount that’s not too bad. That could still be too much for some as they risk waiting for say a 90% off sale. However, this particular item was actually being sold at $9.99 as they wanted to move everything out quickly due to the few days left of the store opening.
This made me realize how there was a whole section of clothes tagged at that price and if I return tomorrow, I will spend more time there knowing it’s actually that cheap. I never would have known unless I actually checked and if more people knew I’m sure they would fly off the racks. Don’t be afraid to check.
