I was just reading an article that talked about auctions in general and how people are able to save a lot of money by purchasing goods that others don’t want anymore. One topic covered the area of government surplus items that are usually sold at a very cheap price. At the same time, not as many average people would normally think of that source to buy things from and so chances are you can find good deals more often.
What was kind of interesting to see were some of the items that were listed such as cars and trucks that looked okay for as low as $200. I was almost thinking you could just buy it and resell it to a used car dealer or something to make a profit. Although, there probably is a lot more to it.
Maybe I should head down to one of the office centers for the heck of it one day just to see what it is like.
