Today I had so many things to do and someone I knew was actually having a performance that he wanted the people he knew to attend for support and so I tried to find ways to make it despite my packed schedule. You could argue where it’s more important to just focus on your work as it’s moments like these that can cause one to spend too much time on personal stuff which gets in the way of business.
However, you always have to remember to take some time with the people in your lives as at the end of the day all the money in the world won’t mean much if there is no one to share your life with per se. Whether that with friends or time with the family. Possibly in the future too in terms of meeting the right person to start a family which id actually an interesting point on its own.
Basically, by ignoring the social aspect of your life such as meeting people one will often spend tens of thousands of dollars to try and catch up with it later in life with a greater risk that they won’t be able to find one. It may even turn out like that sad story of the founder of Minecraft where he sold his business and made so much money but no one wanted to hang around with him as his money made him intimidating. Even with that alone should show the importance of trying to find and develop those genuine relationships in your life early when you can.
