Store Prices Can Be Cheaper Than Flyer Prices

This was a funny sight today as a lot of stores actually shop their competitors for the week to try and find deals they have in order to price match it themselves. That way, when you go to the store it should give you confidence that you are getting the lowest price without any price matching hassle. There were these Pepperettes advertised on the store’s flyer as $8.99 which is a typical price. However, upon walking to the aisle you can see the product was tagged at $6.99. I thought it was an error or store specific promotion at first. But if you look at the label it clearly indicates that it was an “Ad Match”.

That’s why it’s good to check the prices every now and then as the item could actually be cheaper in the stores too than what you see in the flyers because of situations like this. I don’t even have any idea which competitor they specifically price matched. But either way you sabe money if you were looking to buy the item.

I saw there were some better clearance deals though so I decided to get those instead.
