This got me thinking the other day as there are a lot of camera companies getting into other things that they traditionally do not which means they are now competition for businesses that normally didn’t have to worry about them. As a result, it seems like that opened the floodgates for other companies to do the same and there is now a constant battlefield of sort as no one are friends anymore. That makes you think on whether or not if you found success with a certain product in a particular industry would you think it’s a good idea to not expand into other things that won’t be your main focus but would likely ruffle feathers?
Example, if you are a restaurant is it better to stay away from the clothing business and to leave that your neighbor? As well, if you do want to get into it casually maybe it’s better for form a partnership with the dedicated clothing companies instead. I can see there business referrals will be a constant theme with the two businesses that way as well. Versus one or the other feeling you are trying to steal their business.
That is unless you do want to put the other company out of business as you want to be the main player in the space that is.
