This an interesting thought as today a person asked me if I had any ideas for a business or side hustle they could do in order to generate more income in their life as they seem to want to do more. They already have a pretty stable six figure a year job but I suppose they realize they need to do more. Everything from doing passive investing to starting a franchise was brought up.
It makes me think where usually people would have these types of ambitions very early on as a career path in order to achieve the type of wealth that they desire. If you are already stable having worked in a career for years then it can seem kind of risky to try out serious ventures now. Unless you just find yourself being overworked or not being able to pay the bills, it would seem a little too late to jump into a business venture.
With that said, starting things as a side hustle such as selling items online is perfectly fine as you can easily stick with what you are doing and this on the side to see how it works. I know for myself, if I was working a regular 9 to 5 that’s what I would do where I would do the business on the side that I hope to do full time until it feels like the right time to jump in.
Funny enough though, for one franchise he was looking at the story for that apparently was how the owners just quit their full-time job and risked starting a business. That worked out for them which would also throw in the thought on how there is no one right way for everyone.
