There was so much news recently of celebrities who apparently went to space with Blue Origin and this got so much criticism it seems such as people saying how wealthy or famous people are just blowing away their money when it could be spent on other things since traveling to space can’t be cheap. It made me think how there are actually a lot of people who intentionally spend a lot of money on unique experiences like these that are inaccessible to most only to turn it into a money-making investment.
For example, people often get notoriety and attention for experiencing these types of things where they end up charging money for appearances or even selling books as people are curious in learning more about the person and experience. So many times it’s not just people blowing away thousands of dollars as if you are simply going to an amusement park ride. Instead, there is a business side to the decision.
Doesn’t sound as crazy afterwards right if people can make several thousands more over the initial investment and it helps to open up doors elsewhere.
