Showing The Actual Total Price On Signs

With a lot of the Bay stores closing down some stores are implementing their own extra discounts in hopes to move inventory to the point where people aren’t actually buying the item because the math is too complicated. So wit that it seems like the store decided to do the math for people. You can see for this sign as an example at this store they were having a standard 60% off all clothing but at the same time there are signs saying you get an additional 20% off after. This is less than just getting 80% off.

But with that calculation they wrote on the sign the customer would pay a little over $20. Of course, that isn’t including tax yet. I know in some countries businesses actually list the price you have to pay combined with taxes and all which would make life easier, I think. As times here you are often wondering if there are additional fees at purchases such as recycling fees of some sort. So, I don’t blame people for not wanting to buy unless the item is truly at a bargain basement price.

This might be more important when people are entering a store in liquidation as you don’t need the flashy signs to get them in the door as people already assume there should be deals and they are ready to spend at the right price.
