Well, it’s about that time as people are eager to start their shopping with Black Friday deals coming up and what was interesting is how some companies have actually plastered all over their sites and marketing material on how they guarantee certain products that they are selling will be the same if not better during Black Friday which gives you a peace of mind that you can get reimbursed if the price drops. The funny thing is a lot of people already have the same policies in place. However, I think you actually do need to remind people in these ways as most people don’t want to be bothered to read all the fine prints.
I know for myself if I was walking past a store my immediate assumption would be the price will get better on Black Friday and so I shouldn’t commit to a purchase yet. So as the business they do have only a split second to get your attention and to assure you that the price you pay today will be the lowest guaranteed. Of course, that means the price as is has to be very appealing.
For myself, still looking for a good deal on computers to prepare for the new year.
