This week Walmart has this anniversary sale in place and one item was this inkjet printer that you can get for about $19.99. As you know, the price of ink can be expensive where you can easily pay like $30 to $70 to replace all of the ink. So as a result, since buying a new one is cheaper in this instance people are instead literally buying like three printers. When one ink runs out they will just open up the other printer. It makes a printer like a throw away item now.
I think the thing to keep in mind is that the ink cartridge provided with the actual purchase of the printer is usually not a full one. Basically, they want you to buy a new ink cartridge as soon as possible to make more money. I can see buying a new one if you were getting a new model and all, but if you were buying multiple printers for the sole purpose of stocking up on ink then it might make more sense to look into things such as ink refilling services to save money.
No point in having so many extra hardware that comes with a small ink cartridge. Unless you think you can sell the brand new printer without the ink to someone for a good price.
