I was reading an article today that talked about various people who have worked and save up so much money in an effort to start a family. At first it sounded like any typical story I thought with one big difference being for some reason they had to spend over $50,000 in just the first year. Upon reading it further it turned out that the couple couldn’t conceive a child on their own and as a result they would have to pay for services such as finding a surrogate mother.
Kind of crazy financially when I think about it where a lot of people who don’t have these issues are so worried about whether or not they can afford things like some kind of name brand clothing for their future child. It kind of makes you sit there and think what you actually need to get by or at the same time how others have it a lot worst in terms of financial challenges for things that you may not have to worry about at all. Just one of those reminders that we need to appreciate the things we do have.
