Remembering There Are Black Friday Sales Coming And More

After seeing that warehouse sale yesterday I told some people I knew about it and as a result got some requests to buy items they were looing for since the place is fairly close to me. Funny enough, as I went back to find the items I was tempted to buy more stuff potentially for myself knowing the sale will end soon. This is a bad habit as it is easy to overspend. But with that thought of a sale ending that reminded me how there are still things such as Black Friday left and so you can probably still get great deals then. Therefore, no need to rush unless the deal is really that good.

I’m almost thinking for some people having a calendar of the regular big sales events each year is probably a useful tool for you to assess if there is any true rush to buy something at a sales event if it’s only a “nice to have” type of purchase. For me it’s kind of like shopping for groceries and deciding if you should stock up or not as you are often guessing if there will be a better deal or not by the time you need to restock.

For bigger purchases that should last a long time I would say this is the “beginner” mode scenario as you can plan it very easily while using it as a way to train self-discipline to not just buy emotionally.
