This got me thinking today as there was a person that tried to lecture people about rules and regulations on how to operate in certain industries and that he is professionally licensed so that people can be confident in working with him. However, it was uncovered that he was actually spouting out inaccurate information such as what products are legal and not legal to use even though it should be basic knowledge for a licensed professional.
The crazy thing is the person apparently spent thousands of dollars on his education and certification where you have to wonder if he was taught the wrong information. Imagine going to a medial school where you were specifically taught that certain drugs and medication were legal to use when it is not. A lot of people are quick to show off their training as an example and in this case it shows that you need to be diligent in verifying that what you are being taught is actually valid.
There are too many places that are basically like a diploma factory as an example and so you need to be vigilante about who you train with.
