Paying Less For More Option Deals

This got me thinking as it is a very common sight to see products on sale where the one that is giving you less product is actually more expensive than the one giving more. I was looking for an ethernet cable that was about 6ft in length where as you can see the price was listed at about $14.99. Seemed like a pretty standard retail price. For the heck of it I was looking at the other sizes and funny enough the 10ft variant was on sale for $12.99. It is normally more expensive at $18.99. But you would be surprised how many times I see these types of prices that people overlook.

For example, when I am walking through the supermarket I would often see people eye say one liter of juice that was on their list and so they grab the first one that they see for maybe two dollars. However, literally right next to them there is the exact same brand of juice except it is two liters and on sale for $1.50. They completely missed that which happens very frequently.

For myself, if I go into a store with a specific purchase in mind I always take the time to scan the sections quickly just to make sure there isn’t a sale or clearance deal that would be better than what I was going to get. Quite often I end up buying a different brand too that suits my needs just fine and I end up saving money. It only takes a few extra seconds or minutes and can save you a lot of money.
