Usually the Olympics should be an event where the world comes together in the form of competitive sports while having a diverse presentation in order to represent various cultures. I can imagine a company that wins contract bids during these times are under high pressure to execute everything professionally and trying to cater to a global audience. But as it turns out it seems like the event has been plagued with mishaps and confusion.
One huge noticeable error was how when the Olympic flag was being raised it was actually upside down. You have to wonder why they didn’t immediately stop it to correct it. Then there was this intro that really confused people on what these cast of characters were supposed to represent in regards to sports as I was just reading so much comments of people interpreting this bit as a take on the “Last Supper” in the form of a parody.
I don’t know if that is the case, but again it makes me wonder for those who won business contracts to come up with all this it makes you wonder if they truly did what they thought the whole world would accept versus doing what they wanted. That does happen many times where people who get contracted to do these kinds of jobs neglect to actually cater to the audience first and foremost. It’s one thing to land the job in these cases and another to meet expectations to ensure you can get more in the future.
