Happy new year everyone and hopefully 2024 brings you a lot of good memories. One thing that happens usually during the year here in Vancouver is the polar bear swim which I decided to check out. Although I didn’t take the swim it was fun to see people gathering around and I often heard remarks from people welcoming each other back. I guess a good thing with this too is it is free for anyone to do anywhere.
Money is usually a new year’s resolution for many and this kind of shows there are plenty of activities that are part of a tradition which can provide you with entertainment and socializing environments that doesn’t require you to empty the bank. Heck, I didn’t even swim but the atmosphere and being able to decide what to do with plenty of options is good enough.
