Well, this was an odd scenario today as the business I was dealing with over my cell phone repair issue contacted me and it seemed like they were making all sorts of excuses to try and not have to contact the corporate offices for the work they did as from what I gather they messed up and don’t want more light on the issue. Which makes me think, as it is the end of the year I think it would have been a great time for the business to admit their fault and write it off as an expense per se. It could have been just a learning lesson for them. But now they have effectively dragged this on to the new year and I will be pursuing further actions.
Wouldn’t you want to start the new years with a clean slate in these ways? Especially if you know you did something wrong? I was thinking their mistake must be extremely bad for them to want to hide it in a sense. The end of the year also means all your finances should be balanced with no new surprises. If anything, that should make it easier to try and solve it from a financial point of view and whether or not it is worth dragging it on.
I guess this will be something new for 2026 in terms of pursuing action against the business.
