This was kind of an unorthodox way of giving advice I thought. Essentially, one person was making a point today on how to be successful you have to learn to be lazy in the sense you shouldn’t want to do everything yourself all the time as you need to find ways to get things to work even when you are not there. I guess you can say he was essentially saying you need to find ways to leverage your time.
It was kind of entertaining though the way he was presenting it as he would mention how so many people are so caught up in focusing on how they can do things quicker and better whereas for him it’s more about how can he make it so that he will have to do as little work as possible while producing the same or better results. In many ways it’s kind of the same thing in the end except with a different perspective. His way is probably just a bit more of an attention grabber though since not everyone communicates it in this way.
I suppose that is the mentality a lot of venture capitalists have too where they wan to invest in things that require them to do no work so that they can just sit back and collect the money.
