Mislabeled Grocery Item Deals

This was interesting as a person was excited to get this deal as they were just shopping as normal for some chicken at the supermarket. Upon first glance the package mentioned that it was a value pack of chicken thighs for about $6.30. Nothing too crazy overall. However, upon looking at the chicken it didn’t seem like they were chicken thighs but rather chicken breasts. Those are generally more expensive to purchase. Could it be a situation of the employee improperly labeling the product?

That is possibility. I have rarely seen these types of price errors when shopping as they are usually in the form of straight up incorrect pricing. But for this case another theory could be the worker didn’t really know much about say chicken and was simply rushing through the packaging to maintain productivity. This is like labelling a bottle of wine as a can of soda or something.

But as this shows, it can happen on your usual trip to the grocery store.
