I am sure most people have heard about the immense wildfires happening around Los Angeles at the moment where homes are burning down and evacuations are in place. What was crazy to read is how apparently people have had their fire insurance cancelled just recently and for this to happen means there are so many people out of luck financially as everything is pretty much gone from their home to personal belongings.
While many people were grieving of course, some people reemphasized how at times like these it showed that material things aren’t what matters as it’s more about being surrounded by the right people. I think for myself it would be more about the sentimental valued item as I usually try not to buy too much stuff I don’t actually need as those are easily replaceable. But it should make you think too if you are investing your money in the right way in the event that something unfortunate like this happens. Hopefully people recover.
