Investing In A System That Doesn’t Satisfy All

This had to be one of the most interesting timing I have witnessed to demonstrate how you often need to be adaptable where there is no one size fits all. There was a scenario where company asked all of its workers to create a video template of sort which revolved around pitching potential clients as it seemed very basic where people would introduce themselves and then proceed to do whatever the presentation was about. On paper it sounds great to save time as why waste time trying to do something from scratch when the majority of the people are asking for the exact same thing each time right?

So when a lot of people started to implement this new system the very next project had a request where they requested that the people who were pitching to win the contracts would have to include a specific slide in their introduction. Because of this, they pretty much had to do everything manually again where the timing was unbelievable as usually most people would request for the basics. Could it have been a way for the universe to say there is never a one size fits all solution?

Imagine this for other things in life such as a person spending thousands of dollars on basic business clothing because an expert told them it’s the type of black suit that everyone needs to wear. Then on the person’s first day an important event gathering has a dress code saying everyone must wear say white. What would the guy do after spending all his money on the black wardrobe huh? You always have to be so careful about investing all your money into one system as people do often have unique need and requests that you must be able to adapt to.
