Today I was talking to a person that literally travels virtually every month to a different area and country due to the nature of his work. Financially speaking, he pretty much breaks even too where he can’t live lavishly. However, his lifestyle is sustained. His room and board is pretty much covered but he has to pay the expense in actually traveling to different countries.
I don’t know if I would be comfortable with that personally as I would want to have a fairly reliable residual income source before doing something like that. I know nowadays you can easily generate an income by publishing your travels online as an example. Therefore, I would look to create something like that before venturing off in such a manner.
Either way, it’s pretty amazing I think to be able to plan your finances to work in such a fashion if that is your cup of tea.
